The "Zombie Mommie" project was born out of heartbreak, self-discovery, and rage. It started as a small collection of drawings that were meant to highlight the strength and suffering that comes out of female exploitation and objectification. The depictions of bodily harm and physical violence against women forces viewers to confront difficult feelings and the uncomfortable topics of sexual violence and the vulnerability of women. The gore and nudity of the unsettling"Zombie Mommie" imagery is meant to disturb viewers and disrupt notions we have of womanhood.
